What a whirlwind of a month this has been. April delivered what is a HUGE passion of mine - BIRTH! I was able to capture not just one but TWO births in one week. Two beautiful stories, two very different experiences.

Today's story is about the beautiful birth of Briella Rose. This baby girl had a powerhouse of strong women waiting for her first breath. Mother Nature was even in the game with a crazy April storm!

Mom was blessed to have her wonderful doula, Korina (Celebrating Life) and sister (BFF) with her through the night. She also had an amazing second doula-in-training who was a great support! (The magic of woman, together, during birth is seriously an amazing experience!)

The next morning Korina texted me and said that I should come in as Briella would soon be here. I arrived at the hospital at 6:45 a.m. and throughout the morning was able to document the whole story as well as getting to know this beautiful mom and her wonderful support group!

At 12:19 on April 7th, 2017 Briella Rose graced this world with one dramatic entrance.

I am so excited that I am going to be able to spend the next year with Briella and her mom capturing her first year of growing.
