Blog my sessions - time to show off the art and family that inspire it.

This blog is for Stella Maris Photography's current Oregon and SW Washington Based, small business, lifestyle family and birth sessions. I blog about my client's sessions and daily life interests such as Oregon Family, Law Enforcement and First Responders, Healthy Lifestyle, Crossfit, raising a toddler, home life, balance between work and family, clothing and styles, Oregon outdoors and fun adventures within Portland Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. I love finding new spots within Oregon and SW Washington to have sessions for my clients. We have so many farms for Washington County Family Photography and Newborn Oregon and SW Washington Photography. Portland Oregon Maternity Sessions can also be held in so many areas within Oregon and SW Washington.

I met mama-to-be about 4 years ago (SO CRAZY!!). Throughout the years our lives have intertwined through different mutual interests. I was so excited when Laura reached out to me a few months ago. She was looking for a photographer to capture her first baby.

We, of course, met up for tea (iced, because it's summer) and discussed ideas and designed a beautiful session. When Laura texted me a few days later and told me one of her past student's was a floral designer and she was having a floral crown made... well it just adds to what was going to be a gorgeous mid-summer night's event.

I love Highway 47 (weird I know, but I grew up in a very similar place and the road reminds me of my childhood) and every time I drive by this creek I always imagine sessions... My wish finally came true when Laura and Daddy-to-be, Derrick, agreed to a few locations along this road. Ummmm...but it gets better when daddy-to-be drove up in his vintage pick-up.... A-MA-ZING!!! Why yes, yes we can include the truck.

Anyways, what followed was this amazing session! It was SOOOOO hard to narrow down the images for the reveal session. I can't wait to meet the little guy (in the next week or so!!) and see Laura and Derrick enjoy the exciting adventure of being parents.
