Necco's Baptism
/The first weekend of July was a whirlwind as my best friend and her son (who is 2 weeks younger than mine) was coming to Portland for her godson's baptism. Of course we only get to physically see each other once every year or so, but our friendship has been going strong since the 2nd week of freshman year in high school. Having had a friendship that long leads to sisterhood and I have known her extended family for just as long. Which brings me to today post!
Kipp (Bestie's cousin) and Patty (Rockstar MAMA) were able to baptize their baby boy, Nicco, 4th of July weekend at St. John Fisher Parish in Portland, OR. My services were a gift from Nicco's godmother who wanted to giver her godson something that would be tangible and looked at for years down the road.
We had a small party of family and close friends that arrived at St. John Fisher Parish where Fr. Thompson performed Nicco's baptism.
Nicco, who is confident in his walking skills, decided that he was more about walking around the fountain and exploring the chapel. Such a cute moment of his anointing and blessing as well as the prayer.
As for his big brother, Lucca, he was helping keep dad company.... I can't wait for you to see the many spots of joy in this family session. These smiles are radiant (As they should be as Rockstar MAMA is a Pediatric Dentist in Portland, OR).
